Unify Dayton Fund

The Unify Dayton Fund, sponsored by Kettering Health, is a collaborative initiative rooted in the shared vision of Unify Dayton, a regional network that includes and is supported by Miami Valley Leadership Foundation (MVLF) and Declare.

Around 2014, both MVLF and Declare were launched with a shared desire to see churches and community leaders collaborate to bless lives and strengthen neighborhoods across the Greater Dayton region. Around 2020, a number of organizational leaders began to consider the following question: how can we work better together to serve our city? 

In November 2021, approximately 50 serving leaders gathered for what became known as Unify Dayton — a collaborative movement committed to alignment, shared vision, and collective impact. Unify Dayton is not a separate 501(c)(3), but a network of churches, nonprofits, and cross-sector leaders committed to the thriving of every person and neighborhood in our region.

Building upon previous partnerships between Kettering Health, MVLF, and Declare — including the Hope4Community Fund and the Declare Community Fund — the Unify Dayton Fund represents the next phase of this work.
